Intertextuality

Intertextuality is the the relationship between texts, especially referring to literary ones. examples of intertextuality can include: allusion, quotation, calque, plagiarism, translation, pastiche and parody. Intertextuality is a literary device that helps lead to a much better reading experience as it brings another context, idea, story into the text at hand this is important in our studies course since throughout the year we will be reading analysing and interpreting different stories. I think that using intertextuality in the following two years will help me throughout this course as it will make English easier.
